Faith over Fear 🛐🛐/😱

It was another insightful service at church today, still learning about Faith. The key learning from the sermon is for us to have a balanced perspective to faith. Not being stereotypical or embracing a single side to Faith. Yes, we would face fears, but our Faith must be bigger than our fears. This sermons builds on from last week's, where we talked about Prophetic Faith and the motive + context.of Faith. If I were.to sum up last week's and this week's sermon in one sentence, it would be: True Faith is prophetic, prophecy can seem good or bad, but it's still the God kind of Faith. Let's see some illustration, David and Joseph. Both men were carried by prophecy, backed by God but their path to fufilling destiny were very different. David, a shepard boy, living a normal life was visited at home, to be anointed for royalty. He was not even regarded initially. He had no dream, no vision. It was an easy ride.to the throne for him. Joseph had a dream and that ...

Prophetic Faith 🤯

I'm in a state of "mind blown" I mean I have heard several teachings on Faith and how it is worked, but never ever I've I heard it preached the way it was a few hours ago at Church, twice! (Twice because I had to join the second service again just to .. what's the word... behold these truths.) I bless God for the Servant of God, Pastor Emmanuel Iren. Now unto today's sermon points... just a few key points really, cos this shouldn't be long, and I'll strongly suggest you Watch a replay for the sermon on Youtube. Before I proceed I feel I need to say this, the content of this sermon, I think might not be so easy for a new Christian to grab at first hand. If you are not so familiar with bible characters and their experiences, you might feel lost, but you should get the main principle. If you've been a Christian for a while, you should be familiar, but you definitely will gain a new perspective to what Faith is,  a right perspective (though unpopular)...

Faith Insight. Before Jesus walked on Water, Moses and the israelites had a good chance to do so at the parting of the red sea, but they were  limited by the measure of Moses' faith. God didn't expect them to cry for help Exo 14v15. More like you have everything you need for the situation. Moses had the rod God gave him and had done wonders with it in the past. The same Rod could have frozen the entire sea and they will all walk. It was up to Moses and his Faith to be creative. As a believer you have it in you. Everything you need. Though no rod, but you have the Holy Spirit. 🔥 Several instance Jesus questioned why the followers keeps "disturbing" him because of their little faith,  after showing them the way.  Matthew 8v24, Matthew 14v29, Matthew 16v8, Matthew 17v14. How to your train and build your faith. 3 ways. 1. Believe 2. Speak 3. Act. The resources you need is in the Word/word, (the Word God said and the one you say and keep saying) Other rules to...
